I was flying back to LaGuardia airport in New York City with my wife last week. As we started to make our approach I started sharing trivia about the airport with her since she is not a native New Yorker.
For instance, the airport is the closet of the 3 NYC airports to Manhattan. Also it was named after a NYC mayor and oh yea it is rated as one of the most dangerous airports in the US and yes it has the track record to prove it. It has had multiple disasters. The most recent was in 1994. Read the rest of this entry »

Shoes are a necessary part of life. Shoes keep the broken crack pipes of the NYC sidewalk out of my feet. But how many shoes are really necessary? My lovely wife has lot of shoes. I lost count after the 60th pair. Read the rest of this entry »

Yesterday my computer’s cooling fan started making a funny noise. So I cleared everything out from under my desk to take a look at it. The bad news is that it looks like I will need to replace the cooling fan or maybe just buy a new faster computer
. The really bad news is that I found 4 affiliate checks from seven months ago that had fallen behind my desk.
I hate losing money UGGGHHHH! Read the rest of this entry »

Ever do a search on google.com and have it filled with uk or canadian sites? It doesn’t happen often, but when it does it is really annoying to me. I don’t want to buy from those websites because it normally means longer shipping times and higher delivery fees. I want to find suppliers that are close to me (or ones that provide free overnight shipping).
Other countries easily customize their searches to either search the full index or just their country specific tld. But America has trouble with this feature since .com tld has become so popular for websites around the world. Search engines can’t really use that as a helpful tool. And .us tld is not any better since it is not widely used and it is a popular choice for spammers.
Ugh!!!!

SES San Jose is coming up in a few weeks and it looks to be another great one. But in case you haven’t heard I’m gonna be a little busy with a personal project and can’t make it. I’ll definitely be dancing at the Googleplex next year.

Here’s a recent snippet of an im conversation I had with a seo friend about my wedding registry.
———-
Friend says: do you have a wedding wishlist yet?
goodroi says: (wedding registry site #1)
Friend says: ok, thanks, that’s all?
Friend says: only one cheap love to have left
goodroi says: (wedding registry site #2)
Friend says: ok, where’s the real one?
goodroi says: those are the two main ones
goodroi says: i tried registering at (expensive wedding registry site) but i really dont like any of the stuff
Friend says: hm, how about some nice high pr links or a old pr7 domain?
goodroi says: after having my own apartment for many years, i have just about everything i want
Friend says: yep
goodroi says: i can never have enough old pr 7 domains - lol
———-
I have been living on my own for a good long time and have everything that a normal wedding registry would cover. Maybe adding to the registry some good old domains with alot of links would be a smart idea? Or maybe my fiance will kill me for even thinking about it

This photo shows just how much Rae loves Bob Saget. All this time she has been pretending to hate Bob Saget but it was just a poor attempt to hide her true feelings.

I am not talking about a graphic design studio. I am talking about Nevdull’s post about Arrojo Studio (a hot hair stylist studio in NYC). I know what you are thinking why would I need to visit Arrojo Studio since I have such great hair that is incredibly sexy and always perfect. I’ll tell you why - I am doing this to set a good example for certain search engine employees. Nick Arrojo is a famous hair stylist that can improve even perfect hair like mine and definitely can help less than perfect hair.
Some search engine employees are so busy making the Internet a better place for you and me that they haven’t really taken care of their appearances. Instead of telling a search engine employee that their hair aint good, I’m just gonna be a friendly blogger and post how and where they can go to get it fixed.
