Joost formerly known as the Venice Project is a fun thing I have been beta testing. They are trying to build a television platform on your computer with streaming video clips. Conceptually it is very interesting, especially the social aspects of it. As with all “cool” beta projects it is by invite only. I have a few invites that I can giveaway if anyone is interested in checking it out. Getting get back to watching more tv using Joost.
Follow-Up I’ve given out all the Joost invites I currently have and will let you know when I have more.

Wow I didn’t realize so many people want to check out Joost. Literally within minutes of posting this I was contacted by several people. I’m sorry to report I do not have enough invites for everybody. I’ve emailed the lucky people that were super fast on their rss readers and asked first. I’ll let you guys know the next time I get more invites.

Hey I heard about Joost beta from a friend i would love an invite if you have any left I think this will change the way we watch tv, and if they can get more corp sponsors they make a impact as big as the cell phone industries. I’m looking forward to seeing how far this project goes in the future.
