The initial population of the data to the external hard drive is eventually time consuming depending on the amount of data, but after that only changed files get 'mirrored' out to the external drive. It's free and can sync multiple files on multiple computers with one another. It does it instantly so you don't have the hassle of constantly updating your files. I love it.
