I like Randy’s idea… Also, maybe some advice for those running websites that doing sell “anything” but rather provide a user experience – they’re hard to monetize, but usually the most rewarding to run (think communities, aps, forums, etc).

As you might guess, the toughest part of anything new is getting started. This is especially true in this arena. Here’s what could happen:
1. You get an email, or somehow visit a site that talks about the RICHES to be found on the internet – you pick the vehicle: Adsense, Writing Articles, List Building, etc.
2. So, you say – “Sounds good. I think I’ll look into this a little deeper – do some research.”
3. You visit webites, find blogs, follow the threads, sign up for “free reports”, etc.
4. Next thing you know, you realize there are HUNDREDS of ways to make money (if you believe what you read). You also realize there are TONS of things you DON’T know. So, obviously, more research is needed.
5. Paralysis sets in and you don’t do anything.

I’d like to see an easy plan for a newbie – not a plan to get rich. But, a plan to learn some basic concepts that won’t cause you to broke. At the end of this training journey you might have a better understanding of what to do next. Even if this was mildly successful (”hey, I made $3 this month!) I think it would be a good motivator to keep going.

I agree with “LifeinSearch”, affiliate marketing is always an interesting topic because if done right, it’s the quickest path to big potential earnings… Well, via PPC anyway.
